- Facilitate cooperation and exchange of information between persons who perform academic advising functions through regularly scheduled meetings.
- Organize and/or sponsor regular programs for the professional development of council and campus wide academic advisors and to bring awareness to statewide, regional and national professional organizations.
- Foster and enhance communication between academic advisors, university departments, and administration (i.e., the Registrar’s Office, Admissions & Scholarships Office, Financial Aid & Scholarships, the Learning Center, etc.)
